An exclusive DVD compiling a selection of recent works funded through the London Artists’ Film and Video Award (LAFVA) is currently available with the April issue of Vertigo magazine.

The DVD has been produced by Film London Artists' Moving Image Network in collaboration with Vertigo. It features a selection of visionary works by Andrew Kötting, Desperate Optimists, Tim Shore, Carol Morley, Hannah Collins, Georgina Starr, Jonathan Hodgson and Chris Newby.

The April issue of Vertigo includes interviews with Terry Gilliam, Ray Lawrence (Lantana) on his new film Jindabyne, seminal Czech animator Jan Svankmejer on his life and work and new film Lunacy, Stephen Kijak on his new documentary Scott Walker: 30th Century Man and Philip Gröning on his extraordinary new film Into Great Silence. Plus there are chances to win DVDs of Svankmejer: The Complete Short Films 1964-1992 and Into Great Silence in this month's competitions.

There will be a launch event for Vertigo's new issue on Tuesday 8 May at the Curzon Soho, featuring films by Derek Jarman, Stan Brakhage, Jan Svankmejer, Andrew Kotting, Edouard Sallier and Tereza Stehlikova.
