Filmarmalade will present the world premiere of Sara Preibsch's 2008 LAFVA-funded film White Shoe Station on 17 December (6.30pm) at the IMT Gallery.
This event will also include screenings of Preibsch's previous film works, Late Birds and The Beekeeper, as well as a round table discussion with the artist and critic Andrew Fisher (co editor of the journal Philosophy of Photography), Gordon Shrigley (Filmarmalade) and the artist Julia Dogra-Brazell.

- FLAMIN Artists' Exhibitions, Screenings and Awards
Cubitt Gallery presents a solo show of new work by FLAMIN-supported artist Stephen Sutcliffe (until 10 January).
Kutluğ Ataman's 2004 LAFVA-funded film Küba will be showing at Museum Ludwig in Germany (until 17 January).
Previous LAFVA awardee Sarah Miles' film Drum and Bass will be on show at the Laing Gallery in Newcastle (until 24 January).
Spacex in Exeter will host a solo exhibition by FLAMIN-supported artist Emily Wardill (until 20 February) which includes her new film Game Keepers Without Game.
- Peter Campus at BFI Southbank
The latest exhibition at the BFI Southbank Gallery (until 14 February) celebrates the work of ground breaking video artist Peter Campus.
Campus first came to prominence as an artist in the early '70s with his close-circuit works, three of which - Kiva (1971), Stasis (1973) and mem (1975) - are included in the exhibition alongside a new six-screen work commissioned by the BFI.
The exhibition will be accompanied by a comprehensive retrospective in the BFI cinemas.

- Salon Video Art Prize 2010
Submissions are currently invited for the annual Salon video Art Prize, which this year will be selected by Mike Sperlinger (Assistant Director –LUX) and Zineb Sedira (artist working in photography, video and installation).
40-50 artists working in video and video installation will be selected for a unique video 'Salon' exhibition taking place at the Matt Roberts Arts Project Space on Vyner Street, East London in March 2010.
There is a selectors' prize of £800 for an exhibitor picked out for special attention by the selection panel. The deadline for submissions is 5pm, Saturday 23 January.

- Wellcome Trust - Large Arts Awards
Applications are currently open for the Wellcome Trust Large Arts Awards supporting imaginative art projects that explore biomedical science. The scheme supports visual art, including moving image, inspired by science that can stimulate debate and provide new ways of thinking about the social, cultural and ethical implications of science.
The Wellcome Trust Large Arts Awards support imaginative and experimental arts projects that involve the creation of new artwork and bring together any art form and any area of biomedical science.
Collaboration between professionals from different disciplines, between adults and young people, and between experts and the public are encouraged.
The next deadline for preliminary applications is 8 January.

- Nightmares Film and Video Submission
Submissions of film and video works are currently invited to be screened as part of a one-day interdisciplinary graduate conference on 5 March 2010 at the Institute of English Studies in Bloomsbury.
Submissions should be experimental film and video works, less than 10 minutes in length and produced in the last two years.
The deadline for submissions is 5 February.

- Intellectual Property Advice for Film and Video
Own-it's new online guide provides a helpful introduction to help you understand intellectual property as it relates to film and video. The guide is one of the first in a series of step-by-step guides setting out key IP considerations and how to approach them, the series also includes an 'IP Guide to... Visual Art'.

- Reminder: Filmarmalade - Call for Works
Marmalade Publishers of Visual Theory, are inviting artist film-makers to submit works for publication in their 2010 artist's film and video DVD series.
Every year Marmalade publish a series of films, selected through a process of invited and open submission. Each DVD includes one film only and is accompanied by a specially filmed interview with the artist.
Please send film or video works on PAL or NTSC DVD for consideration to: Marmalade Publishers of Visual Theory, Studio 4, 21 London Fields Eastside, London E8 3SA, United Kingdom. The deadline for submissions is 30 March.

- Reminder: Cove Park Residency 2010
Applications are now open for the Cove Park Residency, a three-month visual arts residency based in Scotland, which will take place between 3 May and 30 July 2010.
The residency provides the time and support for an artist to focus exclusively on their own practice and ideas and is open to national and international visual artists. Successful applicants will receive a research/materials allowance, artist's fee, self-catering accommodation, private studio and access to a workshop, library and IT/computer facilities.
The deadline for applications is 29 January.
