The Independent Cinema Office's (ICO) latest training event for film programmers and cinema staff will take place on Tuesday 8 February at Tate Liverpool.

Screening Artists' Moving Image is a one day event aimed at cinemas, film festivals and film societies who want to start or develop a programme of artists' film as well as independent curators working with film and video.

The course will cover both practical and theoretical issues, including: audience development; marketing; technical and legal considerations; an introduction to key organisations/potential partners as well as presenting case studies of successful projects.

Participants will also benefit from a chance to network with film industry and arts organisation colleagues.
