On Screen

Fans of crime drama Top Boy will be delighted to discover the show is returning to our screens this month. Canadian rapper and producer Drake is behind the revival of the show, which gained a cult following when it was first released back in 2011. The new episodes pick up as Dushane (Ashley Walters) returns from exile to his home in London to reclaim his throne in the highly lucrative drug market.

The new gripping drama Temple airs on Sky One this month. Based on the Norwegian series Valkyrien, Mark Strong stars as successful and talented surgeon Daniel Milton, who is knocked by personal tragedy when his wife is struck with a terminal illness. Spot various London locations on screen including Westminster, Hackney and Southwark.

Defending the Guilty, a new BBC Two comedy hits our screens next week. Shot in multiple London locations including Ealing and Camden, the show follows Will, a pupil barrister whose boss doesn't respect him. His clients are all guilty, and he is fighting for his job. He is starting to wonder if he has got what it takes.

Filming

Filming on location this month includes the third season of Killing Eve, the dark comedy drama series following the unusual relationship between suave but sociopathic assassin Villanelle and bored MI6 agent Eve Polastri.

London also hosts Quiz, a drama based on the case of former soldier Charles Ingram who caused a major scandal in the early 2000’s after cheating on the game show Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?

Netflix comedy feature Eurovision is approaching the end of its shoot this month. Set against the backdrop of the Eurovision Song Contest, Will Ferrell stars with Rachel McAdams to depict aspiring Icelandic musicians Lars Erickssong and Sigrit Ericksdottir's as they are given the once-in-a-lifetime chance to represent their country at the world's biggest song competition.
