Film London and Arts Council England present FLAMIN Productions, a major funding scheme for London’s artist film-makers. FLAMIN Productions not only provides production finance but also professional development and bespoke mentoring opportunities.

FLAMIN Productions commissions new, single screen works which represent a significant leap in artists’ careers. It aims to attract the capital’s most innovative moving image artists and is underpinned with an open application process.The scheme is for work that is ambitious in premise and duration. It has an emphasis on projects that have strong potential to reach audiences through exhibition in galleries, screening spaces, cinemas or other platforms.

In 2010, eleven projects were invited to develop their ideas into full production proposals. To assist with this FLAMIN offers access to a development programme, which includes a development bursary of £1,000 per project, and access to specialist expertise. Following this, five works were commissioned for production with awards between £30,000 and £42,000.
