Film London and Arts Council England present FLAMIN Productions, a major funding scheme for London's artist film-makers. FLAMIN Productions not only provides production finance but also professional development and bespoke mentoring opportunities.

FLAMIN Productions commissions new, single screen works which represent a significant leap in artists' careers. It aims to attract the capital's most innovative moving image artists and is underpinned with an open application process. The scheme is for work that is ambitious in premise and duration. It has an emphasis on projects that have strong potential to reach audiences through exhibition in galleries, screening spaces, cinemas or other platforms.

FLAMIN Productions is based around an open submission process, through which projects are selected to receive development support, which includes a development bursary of £1,000 per project, and access to specialist expertise.

Following this up to five works are commissioned for production with awards between £20,000 and £50,000.

Projects commissioned for the current round of FLAMIN Productions will be announced in May 2012. The next call for applications will open in September 2012.
