Synopsis

It's 1000 years since the appearance of the Virgin Mary at St Mildred’s Church in Bread Street, and her predicted return has gripped the city's imagination.

A Man leaves his apartment for the first time in 2 years. A veteran of the Gulf War, he pushes a fridge as an act of penance. Along the way he meets a Boy with an eye for a business opportunity and all goes well until the Man reveals what's inside the fridge: a dead man's heart.

Is it true? Whose is it? And if the Virgin does show up will anyone actually recognize her?
